I am in recovery. I built Kratic because I needed it.

I study this professionally. I am a PsyD candidate. I know what behavioral leading indicators look like. I still could not see my own. Not because I was not paying attention. Because no tool was watching everything at once and telling me what it meant.

My behavior was out of control across every part of my life at once. Sleep. Money. Relationships. Work. But I was only ever looking at one piece at a time. And one piece at a time never tells you the whole story. So I kept telling myself I was fine. Until I wasn't.

When I got sober, I thought the hard part was over. It wasn't. Recovery asked a different question: why do I make the choices I make? Not just about drinking. About everything. Sleep, mood, money, habits, substances, all connected. I needed to see those connections to understand myself. Nothing could show me that. Not one app. Not ten apps.
